1st Annual "Day-After-Snowbird" Regatta

Skipper Alicia drove Mystique to a stunning victory in the first annual mid-distance "Day-After-Snowbird" Regatta. After stepping in for Skipper Brian (who was having trouble winning favor with the wind gods on the upwind leg), she legged out on the rest of the J30 fleet (moored at Shilshole) and established an immense lead on the downwind leg of the course. Having clinched a decisive victory, she passed the helm to newcomer David Maclean and allowed him to drive the last bit of the race. Post-race celebrations were resplendant with chips and beer.
